Mr Seaton gives a pencil sketch of George Whitefield. His ministry took him all round Great Britain and to large parts of the U.S.A. He became one of the most popular preachers of his day and as a result he suffered a great deal of persecution. Despite the persecution his preaching ministry awakened souls wherever he went.
