God's goodness amidst failing faith and sins entanglement

1st Samuel Chapter 27 verse 1 to Chapter 28 verse 2

A Practical Study by Dr Nick Needham

Within this portion of scripture we find that David's faith takes a fainting fit, that David strays from his God, that he entangles himself with the world and with sin. However beneath and above David's faults let us marvel at the divine potter who is gracious in going on with his works using such clay. Let us learn from the many lessons in this passage especially that where there is inexcusable sin in mankind there is more than sufficiency in Christ.
