In this study we see the paranoia, jealousy, hate and hypocrisy of Saul towards David. He even uses his daughter in an attempt to destroy David. On the other hand we see David acting with humility in the situation in which he finds himself. There are many lessons in this passage that Dr Needham brings to our attention, which, we can take and apply to our hearts and daily lives.
