David and his followers flee seeking protection from Achish King of Gath. The King's servants are angry with David for they saw him as their greatest enemy. We read of David's feelings, "… and was sore afraid" How did David deal with this fear? Was David right in his following deceit? Following this incident David again moves on to hide in the cave of Adullam where his family and many others who fell foul of Saul took refuge with him. Dr Needham applies many of the lessons in our passage and why are they relevant in our lives today?
