In 2nd Samuel chapter 6 verses 12 to 23 the ark comes into Jerusalem with great enthusiasm. We read that Michal the daughter of Saul sees her husband King David leading the procession and despises him. Dr. Needham considers her background and attitude. As part of this exposition he considers the roll of a woman in the church as set out in the scripture and some of the inaccurate views that prevail about that roll in today's church.
