The Ark of God is now in Jerusalem; however David lives in a beautiful palace while the Ark has no home and this disturbs him. David confides in his adviser, Nathan. They agree that a building to house the Ark would be the right step to take. Both men misread the will of God and God tells them so. Dr Needham applies this mistake by the two men to the church today and the individual believer. He shows the Church is not safe in the hands of men and only safe in the hands of God.
