Most people associate with this sin, physical laziness and a bone-idle individual. While this is one aspect of the “sin of sloth” in our context it relates to spiritual laziness, spiritual idleness and not diligence in the things of God, both in private and public. In other words, not fervent in the affairs of Christ as they are too much effort and trouble.
