Psalm 34 carries the following inscription “A psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.” Pastor Seaton claims this background is necessary to understand this psalm. Dealing with the first three verses he brings to our attention that praise is important in the life of David and how it should encourage the Christian.
